Why a CBD address

Small cost. Big signal.

Show you’re serious

A Sydney CBD address on your website, proposals and invoices tells customers and partners you’re established in Australia.

Register with ASIC

Every Australian company needs a registered office at a physical address in Australia. A PO box won’t do. Use ours when you incorporate or update your details.

Keep your home private

Your registered office shows on ASIC’s public register. Use ours instead of your home address, and avoid questions from your home insurer, landlord or strata about running a business from home.

Land from overseas

How it works

Up and running in days.

1
Sign up

Tell us your company details and pick a start date. $50 a month for at least 6 months, plus a $50 one-off sign-up fee. If you need it for your Google Business Profile, the fee also covers putting your logo on display at HHQ.

2
Get your consent letter

If your company doesn’t occupy the address itself, you need the occupier’s written consent to use it as your registered office. We give you that letter, with your address details.

3
Use it with ASIC

Enter it when you register your company, or update your registered office with ASIC if you already have one.

4
Come in once a month

Use your coworking day to work, meet clients or join the community. Book it like a day pass.

FAQ

Good to know.

This page is general information, not legal or tax advice. Check your situation with an adviser or ASIC.

Can I use this address to register a company with ASIC?

Yes. It’s a physical street address in Australia, which is what ASIC requires for a registered office. We give you the occupier’s written consent you need when your company doesn’t occupy the address itself.

What does it cost?

$50 a month, excluding GST, with a minimum term of 6 months. That includes one coworking day each month.

I’m based overseas. Can I still use it?

Yes. Overseas companies registering in Australia also need a registered office here. Keep in mind ASIC asks for other things too: a foreign company needs a local agent who lives in Australia, and an Australian company needs at least one director who usually lives here. Talk to us about the rest of your setup.

Why not just use my home address?

You can, but your registered office appears on ASIC’s public register. Many founders prefer to keep their home private, and to avoid questions from their home insurer, landlord or strata about running a business from home. Check your own policy and lease.

What happens to my mail?

We receive mail sent to your company at HHQ and let you know when something arrives. Collect it on your coworking day or any weekday during business hours.

What if I need to come in more often?

Buy extra day passes for $40, or move to a Part Time or Full Time coworking membership. Those plans include a business address, which you can also use for ASIC, at no extra cost.

What happens after 6 months?

You can extend it for another six months. If you stop, remember to update your registered office with ASIC before you go.
