Where it comes from

More than an AI could tell you.

You can ask an AI about the Australian market and get a confident answer, and some of it will even be right. What goes into your scan comes from places an AI can’t get to: research and data we pay for, our own network, and conversations with people who know the market from the inside, including people who used to work at your competitors.

We use AI to help sort through it all, but the calls on what it all means are made by our team.

01
Proprietary market research

Industry reports and market data you won’t find with a Google search.

02
Company data

Who’s growing, who’s hiring and who’s in charge at the companies you want to sell to.

03
Investor data

Who’s raising money, who’s backing whom and who has budget to spend.

04
Interviews

With industry experts, and with people who used to work at your competitors. They tell you the things that rarely make it into a report.

05
Our own insights

Ten years of helping companies come to Australia, and the people we’ve met along the way.

FAQ

Good to know.

The sample above uses a fictional company. Your scan is built around your product.

What questions does a scan answer?

How big the market is and how fast it’s growing, how the economy is affecting buyers, who the key players are, who would buy from you first, what you could charge and the best way in. It ends with a clear go or no-go recommendation and your first steps.

How is it different from an ecosystem map?

A scan answers “should we go?” by looking at the market as a whole: its size and growth, the economy, key players, buyers, pricing, rules and barriers, plus what insiders told us. An ecosystem map answers “who do we talk to?” with 100 named accounts, the people inside them and everyone around them. If you’re not sure yet, start with the scan.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

It depends on your product and the questions you want answered, so we scope each scan after a first call and send you a price and timing before we start.

Do I need to be in Australia?

No. We run the scan from Sydney and take you through the results online.

What if the answer is no-go?

Then you’ve learned it for the cost of a scan, not a launch. We’ll also tell you what would need to change for it to become a go.
