Haymarket HQ vs WeWork.
WeWork has eight polished Sydney buildings and a global network. HHQ is one independent hub in Chinatown, built around a community of founders and the companies we help enter Australia.
The short answer
Choose HHQ if you’re a startup, a creator or an international company entering Australia, and you want people who’ll help you get going: connections, programs and workshops, at the lowest prices we know of.
Choose WeWork if you want a polished office in a choice of CBD buildings, or a desk when you travel.
Why companies pick HHQ
A space with character. A way into Australia.
01 · A converted warehouse
Exposed beams, creative people.
A converted warehouse in a building with a long history in Chinatown, one of Sydney’s earliest migrant precincts. Informal, creative and very startup, with food courts and restaurants downstairs and Darling Harbour a short walk away. $40 day passes, less than WeWork’s listed A$60 to A$70. Your own desk for $475 a month, with no lock-in.
02 · Global, one-stop shop
Everything to test Australia, under one roof.
GTM programs and services, introductions to customers and partners, an office and incorporation support. Backed by a global community of founders we’ve been growing since 2016.
03 · Programs and workshops
Learn, launch and meet the right people.
GTM programs such as the Singapore-Australia Market Accelerator, and hands-on workshops on AI and new technology. Plus an event space to meet your target group.

Let’s be honest
WeWork has the more polished fit-out. We have the character, and the people who’ll help you get going.
HHQ is a converted warehouse, not a corporate fit-out, and we like it that way. Exposed beams, an informal feel and a creative crowd: a place where founders from everywhere share tables, ideas and introductions.
